Reader Elizabeth West is the first person to accept Robert McCammon’s invitation in A Little Amber Book of Wicked Shots (which also appears in the new short story collection, McCammon’s Shoppe of Olde Curiosities) to submit drink recipes. Here’s Elizabeth’s submission:
I have Book #617 of The Little Amber Book of Wicked Shots, and finally have read it. The afterword invites readers to share drink recipes to post on this website.
Here goes nothing!
This one is called, “Don’t Be Chicken, Carlos”!
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Pour in a shot of your favorite Blanc Tequila (Bell shaped top ones get you more points).
- Pour in 6 ounces of your favorite grapefruit soda (preferably from the 1970s).
- Then top with a double splash of orange juice and a slice of orange.
Enjoy on a hot night.
