The book launch for Cardinal Black will take place at The Alabama Booksmith in Birmingham, AL, on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 2 PM CDT! Robert McCammon will be on hand for a reading/Q&A session and for a book signing session. Come get your copy of Cardinal Black in person, and feel free to bring your old unsigned copies. Robert McCammon will be happy to sign them, as well. The Alabama Booksmith will have the following signed hardback titles at the event: Boy’s Life, Cardinal Black, The Five, Freedom of the Mask, He’ll Come Knocking At Your Door, The Listener, Providence Rider, River of Souls, Swan Song, and Tales from Greystone Bay. Robert McCammon will be the featured speaker at Northeast Alabama Community College’s twenty-second annual Humanities Speaker’s Forum on Thursday, April 9, 2015.

Mr. McCammon will speak to students, faculty, and community members during both a morning and an evening session, with book signings following each session. The morning session will take place at 10:00 AM in the Tom Bevill Lyceum. The evening session will be held at 6:00 PM in the Cecil B. Word Learning Resources Center.

Northeast Alabama Community College is located in Rainsville, Alabama.

Robert McCammon was a guest reader at the My Favorite Poem Sixth Annual Literary Event held on September 23, 2011, at the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, AL. Mr. McCammon read T.S. Eliot’s “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.” A low-quality video of his reading is now available on the Robert McCammon YouTube channel:
