From Brian Freeman at Lividian Publications:

Lividian Publications is pleased to announce our new trade paperback edition of Leviathan by Robert McCammon, the final volume in his acclaimed Matthew Corbett series, will be published on November 18 with brand new Vincent Chong cover artwork. Due to increasing shipping costs, we won’t be selling this one directly to readers, but Amazon,  Barnes & Noble,  Books-A-Million, Bookshop.org, and many other stores are already accepting preorders.

We’re also very thrilled to share two other exciting developments:

Later this year, we’ll be publishing a brand new trade paperback edition of Speaks the Nightbird, the novel that launched the epic tale of Matthew Corbett. We will reveal the cover artwork and ordering links in November. There will also be a new signed Limited Edition and Lettered Edition published in 2026, designed to better match the look and feel of the special editions published over the years by Subterranean Press, Cemetery Dance, and Lividian Publications.

In related news, we’re revisiting the other trade paperbacks we’ve published in the Matthew Corbett series, and in 2026 we will be republishing those editions with some slight cover tweaks to better indicate they are part of this epic series. Same artwork, just minor design changes. We will also be making the interior text more readable for those of us who love print editions but aren’t getting any younger. These are the same great stories inside, but the redesign means the page counts will be increasing, and we wanted to make it clear now that you’re not missing anything if you read/own a previous edition. There is no new content.

More news on these editions will be shared closer to republication. In the meantime, the previous editions are out there, along with the eBook and audiobooks. Now is the perfect time to start reading the Matthew Corbett series if you were waiting to make sure it was concluded in proper fashion. We’re pleased to report it most definitely was.

Robert McCammon asked me to post this video of author Pete Mesling performing his original composition “Remembering Fount Royal.” Pete wrote:

This is a piece I wrote recently. It’s inspired by the setting of Robert McCammon’s first Matthew Corbett novel, SPEAKS THE NIGHTBIRD. I call it “Remembering Fount Royal.” It’s by no means a definitive recording, but I hope you dig it.

Russian publisher Azbooka has released the cover art for their upcoming translation of Speaks the Nightbird. This will be the fourth time Speaks the Nightbird has been published in Russia. This is a new translation by Vasily Dorogokuplya.

No release date has been announced yet.

Azbooka released Boy’s Life, Swan Song, and The Listener earlier this year. They currently hold the translation rights to The Border, They Thirst, Stinger, The Queen of Bedlam, and Mister Slaughter.
