Russian publisher Azbooka-Atticus has acquired the translation rights for five Robert McCammon novels: Boy’s Life, Swan Song, The Border, The Listener, and Speaks the Nightbird. No word on when the books will be published, but I would guess the first will appear in 2019.

Georgian publisher Books in Batumi has published their translation of Boy’s Life. The cover, shown below, has been added to the Book Cover Gallery.
Czech publisher Classic published a translation of Speaks the Nightbird in July 2017. The cover has been been added to the Book Cover Gallery.
An Italian translation of J.N. Williamson’s Illustrated Masques is now available from Cut-Up Publishing. Le Maschere dell’Orrore was published in May 2018. It contains a comic adaptation of Robert McCammon’s “Nightcrawlers,” along with adaptations of stories by Mort Castle, Stephen King, Paul Dean Anderson, Robert Weinberg, F. Paul Wilson, and Wayne Allen Sallee. “Nightcrawlers” was adapted by James Kisner and features art by Ted Naifeh.

German publisher Luzifer Verlag has posted the pre-order pages for Matthew Corbett und die Königin der Verdammten, their German translation of The Queen of Bedlam. As with Matthew Corbett und die Hexe von Fount Royal, the book will be published in two editions. The most-excellent covers by Michael Schubert are shown below.
Book One will be released on June 30, 2018, and Book Two will be released on October 31, 2018.

Spanish publisher Kelonia Editorial is releasing a translation of Shadow Show: A Celebration of Ray Bradbury. Their project was crowdfunded in 2017. It is being published in two editions, a gold limited edition, and a silver paperback edition. The cover art is by Carolina Bensler.
Shadow Show was edited by Mort Castle and Sam Weller. It includes Robert McCammon’s short story “Children of the Bedtime Machine,” as well as stories by the editors, Neil Gaiman, Joe Hill, and many more. The book was originally published in the U.S. in July 2012. Translations have also been published in the Czech Republic, Greece, Russia, Israel, Hungary, and Turkey.
Short, Scary Tales Publications (SST) in the UK has announced that they are publishing an oversized, signed, limited edition of Robert McCammon’s The Listener for the UK market. The book will be published in March/April 2018 and features cover art by Vincent Sammy.

In May, we announced that Crossroad Press would publish ebook editions of several Robert McCammon novels in the UK, Europe, and other regions not controlled by the U.S. Until now, all of the books published by Subterranean Press have only been available in ebook form in the U.S. and Canada.
The Queen of Bedlam was released to those markets in May, and Mister Slaughter, The Hunter from the Woods, The Providence Rider, The River of Soulsi, and Freedom of the Mask followed over the summer and fall.

The publisher Fumax has acquired the Hungarian rights to Robert McCammon’s Boy’s Life.

This will be the second Robert McCammon novel translated into Hungarian. A translation of MINE was published by Agave Könyvek in 2004.
