Back in 2019, photographer and makeup artist Amanda Chapman photographed Robert McCammon for his author portrait for Cardinal Black. We also posted an interview with Amanda conducted by Robert McCammon as she applied the makeup. That interview can be found on YouTube.

This year, Amanda has created a whole series of Halloween-themed makeups and portraits, and Robert wanted you to see them. Here are three of his favorites. You can see a bunch more examples of her great work on Facebook in the folder Amanda Chapman’s Halloween 2021. Even more can be found on Instagram page, AmandaChapmanSFX!

The Border at Azbooka

Things have been kind of quiet for a while, as Mr. McCammon is enjoying his summer vacation after finishing The King of Shadows back in April. While I do not yet have any publication news to share—beyond that it’ll be published in 2022—work is in-progress with the publisher, and as soon I can say any more, I will!

More ebooks changing publishers

Some of you have noticed that a few more McCammon ebooks have temporarily disappeared from the various vendors in the U.S. As with the Matthew Corbett ebooks, the following titles will soon be republished in ebook formats by Open Road Media. I do not yet know when they’ll be available, but they will be back soon!

  • Baal
  • Bethany’s Sin
  • The Night Boat
  • They Thirst
  • The Border
  • The Hunter from the Woods
  • I Travel by Night / Last Train from Perdition

Again, as soon as I know more, I’ll let you know!
